I hadn't heard the story, but I'm not surprised, 31.
I'm not here to bicker about any schools, I work for one, after all, but people need to know.
Why don't we try to make our work places better environments? Maybe we are "blessed" with non-creative management...or maybe we don't have the necessary resources...or simply maybe because we have tried, met indolence or, worse, opposition, and eventually decided it wasn't worth it. However, we continue working for a place or the other, doing our TEFL job more or less passionately, and why? I personally do it for the students - I forget about my frustrations when I'm in the classroom.

Lovely grammar dmb.

If I have told you once I have told you a thousand times. You taught me how to quote and I just do what you told me and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn``t.

I am not sure that quoting lessons is accurate English.

I think the moderator got fed up with your fed up thread and snipped it. Did you see the spectacular spiral it made just before it crashed?

No i didnt. I haven't been online in about 5 hours. I missed all the fun then. The whole purpose of that thread was to stop things spiralling. 31, did you have anything to do with it?

btw, i caught the last 10 minutes. You see, you miss a couple of episodes and i had no idea what was going on. I was planning to go to IKEA on Sunday as my flatmates have been bleating on about since i got back(they went today) but i might have to cancel and watch the omnibus.

No, I didn`t do anything except reply to some posts. Like I said I don`t know what Saloma means with spiralling.

I think you should stay and watch the omnibus. You can go to IKEA anytime. Are you just going to look? Have I missed something? Is it a prestige thing? Would you go there in UK?

it's fairly stylish stuff and reasonably priced. Cheaper than most Turkish names and more in my taste. Last time i was back in the UK i did go to IKEA. My fatmates came back today with things like new lamps, light shades, blinds sofa covers, etc. we are planning on buying a new sofa and dining table. However it is a bit out of the way and deliver up to five items for 40 ytl. we know some people who are looking for new furniture too, so when they get back from holiday we'll order stuff together and just pay the one charge.

Also he said the cafe is really good and cheap too. Something about a plate of 25 tiger shrimps for 6 ytl
google ikea and they have an online catalogue
