I did the M.Ed in osaka, and it took me 3.5 years to complete all 30 credits plus the Comp exam.
Glutton for punishment that i am, I am now doing another degree by distance (Applied Linguistics)
If you do the degree at home you have to factor in the fact you will give up 2 years of income working here while completing the degree and paying for a Masters out of your savings. TUJ is not cheap but not working for 2 years is not cheap on the wallet either.
Either way, once you get it doors open up for you job-wise.

Yeah, I know it's not cheap either way, but I'm 37 and I just don't have the energy for all-nighters anymore, especially while working full-time . I love teaching, but it's tiring! I think I need to just concentrate on the Master's when the time comes... Again, thanks for the info! |
