Hi,
I'm planning to go to Barcelona to look for work in the first week of september. The plan is to stay in a hostel a few days/weeks until I have secured enough work to be able to afford a flat. From reading posts on this forum it seems that I will have a good chance of getting work if I arrive at this time of the year and go around the language schools with my Celta Cert in one hand and my Cv in the other.
Two things.
1 Does the plan I've written above sound like a good one? I'm qualified but I only have about 8 weeks teaching experience from doing an EJO summer school in the UK this summer. Am I going out to late for the academic year? Should I try and get in touch with some language schools before I go out there. -any comments or advice would be welcome.
2 Is there anyone in a similar situation who would like to meet up and try and find work or accommodation together? or just go for a drink.
