Region 1: North America (Canada, the US and the Carribean)
Montreal with New York a close second
Region 2: Latin America (Mexico, Central America and South America)
Buenos Aires, the coolest city on the American continent(s)
Region 3: Europe (Western, Eastern and Russia)
Paris- simply a beautiful place to live
(what's with this Newcastle love-in? Leeds is far superior (if you want to venture up to the frozen north at all that is...
Region 4: Asia (Middle East, Central Asia, Indian Subcontinent, Southeast and Northeast)
Chiang Mai-chilled out, loads to do, the jungle
Region 5: Pacific (Aus, NZ, Hawaii and Pacific islands)
Melbourne or Perth (for the South West around Margaret River and the coastline around Denmark and Albany-by far the best part of Australia)
Region 6: Africa (North, Sub-Saharan)

Las Vegas is of course the only good city to call home in North America.None of the poverty and stupidity of Cal. or New York and lots of great jobs. Latin America any place in Costa Rica is good.Europe? If you had to pick a place would have to say Madrid.Boring and overpriced like all of Europe but the least bad of the bunch.Asia, where to start?Hong Kong,Tokyo,Bangkok,KL,all winners.Pacific got to love Sydney.
Africa Capetown would be my number one. |

| What do you think are the best cities in which to work, live and play in the following regions? |
In terms of ESL work for this beach bum, the answers are pretty clear:
Region 1: North America (Canada, the US and the Carribean)
Vancouver
Region 2: Latin America (Mexico, Central America and South America)
Buenos Aires
Region 3: Europe (Western, Eastern and Russia)
Lisbon
Region 4: Asia (Middle East, Central Asia, Indian Subcontinent, Southeast and Northeast)
Busan
Region 5: Pacific (Aus, NZ, Hawaii and Pacific islands)
Auckland
Region 6: Africa (North, Sub-Saharan)
Cape Town
I've lived in or near three of the above cities and am planning on a fourth, at least for six months. |
