Does anyone know of a good Internet cafe here in Hong Kong? Preferably something close to an MTR station. Thanks.

There aren't really many internet cafes as such in HK as far as I know, as most people have internet connections at home. Many coffee shops like Starbucks etc. will have a few computers with internet access available for customers (you can try somewhere like Times Square - exit A Causeway Bay MTR, there should be a couple of coffee shops with intenet access there) and some MTR stations have terminals available in the station. You can also go to a public library and use the computers there e.g. Central Library (nearest MTR is Tin Hau) but you may need to queue if you go at a busy time.

Apart from that there are many internet gaming places if you want to play games online.

Major hotels will have business centres with internet facilities.

If you go to Central or Causway Bay on a Sunday there are probably places with internet facilities geared towards foreign domestic helpers.

Try Pacific Coffee. They have a few computer stations there but I think there is a 30 min limit. Lots of Pacific Coffee around, one in Kowloon Tong MTR Station (in Festival Walk).... Causeway Bay MTR (Times Square, Exit A0, just to name a few.

I recommend the HK Convention and Exhibitions Centre's Business Centre in WANCHAI; while not anywhere near an MTR - unless you think walking for one km to Hennessy Rd is "near", it is easy to find (ferry to Tsimshatshui almost next door), and it is free of charge. You can use computers for one hour, and provided the demand is not too high you can always get an extension for another hour.
besides, the BC has a well-stocked library with books on business and travel as well as newspapers including the SCMP.

try the comic cafe, like Comic King, you can go online there as well as read magazines and get a nice drink. might cost more than trying your luck at the coffee places.

I found an internet cafe on Ink Rd. just off King Rd near the North Point MTR. After 9AM it's crowded with kids. It's on the second floor but there is a sign on the sidewalk. I also found one in Kowloon not far from Salisbury Rd. but cannot remember the exact location. Most charge $20HK per hour.

And Prince Edward MTR for that matter. In IFC, Pacific Coffee and MIX both have internet, and are next to each other. So you could always swap between them every 30 minutes, alternately chugging coffee and freshly squeezed juice.
