Just when I thought I had encountered all the real turkeys of ESL publishing I recently had to teach from what is probably the worst textbook for senior high that I have ever used:
'Focus on Grammar' by Marjorie Fuchs and Margaret Bonner.
Give me 'Cutting Edge' anyday... and this is what will replace FoG next year for that class if I have my way.
Any alternative suggestions for crap textbook of the year? |
