data and Bodrum are nearly dead, everyday they are getting more crowded and the bays are now full of buildig. Antalya is so hot and i find Kemer so expensive and when you go there for a week you can not leave the hotel because it is all inclusive , i hate it ( 5* hotel all inclusive , spa and different kinds of restaurants inside)
the best place i think is Dalyan-Caunas,turtle beach, boat trip, mud bath ( full of ugly Sting and D. Hoffman photos with their fake smiles).if you have children, places close to Istanbul like Erdek,Altınoluk are fine too. If u have one or two days off try Igneada or Kiyikoy. |

I bought a place in Cesme not far from İlica beach, crowded at the weekends, just right during the week . The water is superb. Ayvalik is cool in the summer and the fish is the best on the Aegean. The boat tours around the islands are the best value of any in Turkey .
The islands north of Assos are very quiet and clean as is Assos itself, avoid Troy its not worth the trip or the price . |

I would say Olympos / Cirali, especially the latter, especially if you're into family pensions, peace & quiet. Benefits hugely from being smack bang in the middle of the Milli Parki. The blue cruisers are a bit of a pain, mind. |
