Hi,
I am studying Hapkido in Korea at the moment, but I am heading over to Tokyo in January to start a Japanese language course. I would like to continue studying Hapkido whilst I am in Japan. Does anybody know of any Hapkido dojos?
Cheers,
Dan |

Why not just stroll into an Aikido dojo and then proceed to KICK THEIR BUTTS! |

JapanDan,
I had a look around, but dang, there isn't much. Watch out for www.metropolis.co.jp classified ads. I remember seeing once a hapkido practitioner looking for folks to spar with.
Hapkido is its own style, I know, but some dynamic, full-on martial arts are taught all through Kanto (Tokyo) region, including Shorinji Kempo, Aikijutsu, and a few lineage martial arts (blood oath, marry the master's daughter kind). Maybe if you're here for a while, try one of those. |
