If you say someone else, then that means that you believe you are less sane than that other person. And if you are not sane, then how can you possibly be an effective judge of somebody else's sanity? You are really just saying that in your delusional state, you THINK that Xsensei is a sane person (thereby proving your delusional state to others).

Who judges the sanity of phsyotherapists? OTHER psychotherapists. Maybe all phsychotherapists are crazy and are trying to slowly convert humanity one person at a time to their own brand of insanity.

Just because someone is saner does not make you insane it just makes them saner.

Sanity is a relative term. I have met many teachers ( actualy most ) who were solid pros and I have been subjected to a fair number of out and out nut jobs However, Graeme Webb, a Kiwi I shared an apartment with in Kimpo was hands down sanist guy I have ever met. An ex headmaster and a serving Anglican pastor, he is now teaching University in Seoul and preaching at the Anglican Church there.

A fellow I used to know in Jakarta - Bart - was one of the most likeable and normal instructors I have come across. Among other things, he always had his feet screwed firmly to the ground, unpretentious and fair. Always contributed wisely to any discussion, had a great sense of humour and seemed to live life to the full. What's more, he was a great teacher but it didn't go to his head. Shame I lost contact.

basil
