I don't know about its being porno, but I would sure feel foolish!

I have no idea where Hermosillo's used clothing bazars are--sorry. You will need to ask for bazares de ropa usada--locals will know. Everywhere I have lived locals have always taken me to them. Sometimes they are close to the mercados--sometimes not. Frequently they will have furniture and decorative items, too. Another teacher and I bought 2 beautiful large semi-antique Chinese fans in a Metepec bazar--and each took one. I think we spent about 60 pesos apiece....

Miss Betty

In Tucson, you're only 6 hours from Tucson AZ and plenty of busses go between the two cities. Now I realize that legally the FM3 limits your time out of the country. I say this before I get flamed - however, crossing the border over land, sans car, is a much more relaxed thing (for Americans) paper-wise than via the airport. Ive crossed over without doing the stamp thing basically because I couldnt find anyone to do it! But anyway, Tucson has some really excellent thrift stores. The best by far is the Speedway Thrift on the eastern end of Speedway Blvd ( a major road in the city). Great prices and its huge.

The only drawback is that public transportation in Tucson is lousy, except on weekdays.

If you have an FM3 to work (student ones do have limited entries) you have unlimited enteries and exits. It's an FM2 that limits the amount of time you can be out of the country during the 5 years you have it. (Which is why I decided to stay on an FM3)

Embarassed This really has nothing to do with women's clothing does it?

It really does depend on where in Mexico. Personally, I always err on the side of caution and then adjust from there. When in Rome... Oh, and by the way, I love wearing pantyhose, even when it's hot. Always feels more professional. And the bazaars are excellent.
