| During interviews I keep hearing: "other institutes pay X amount, but we pay more," etc. So, I�m curious, what is the average hourly rate in Chilean pesos? |

| There seems to be an extreme variation from one place to another. Private lessons command about $10.000 an hour whilst work in institutes is between $3.000 and $7.000 an hour. Chilean TEFL teachers often get paid alot less than native English speakers and people that have obtained jobs from outside of Chile also seem to get paid more. |
