I'm planning to come to Korea & TELF, then after 1 year Japan. I've applied to FlyingCows, who seem very with it. can you advise any other caring agencies I can apply to.

Private language schools in Japan dont have recruiting agencies to find teachers for them but the schools interview directly in the US and Canada. NOVA, AEON and GEOS are the biggest private schools and the biggest employer of foreign teachers is the government funded JET program. |

Yes, I beg your pardon, my tip referred to Korea only. Footprints may well deal with Japan or they may not - I can't remember. |
I have been in Japan since the mid-80's been posting on the forums 7 or 8 years and have only heard of Footprints once and never come across anyone in japan who has got a job here through them. Must only be in Korea I would say. Japan is a much tougher nut to crack for jobs than Korea IMHO. |

I live in Taiwan and it is better just to arrive then find your school when your here. I do not know about Japan or Korea but someone has to make a buck off of you if you go through a recruiter. If you just show up you can see the school and meet your bosses first before your stuck to a school for a year. |
