Yo, I'm getting hockey fever now that the lockout's over and players are switching teams like a mofo. How do I get NHL games in Kobe? Particularly Leaf games, as Torono is the centre of th universe. I've heard that you can get with a sports package on Sattelite, but I'm not sure. If anyone knows please transmit your knowledge to me via magic box typey machine....I was gonna end this with Go Leafs Go, but it seemed rather plebian...

I'm wondering, too, how I'll be able to watch the NHL games this year.

In previous years I could watch a couple of games a week (rebroadcasts) on ESPN via SkyPerfect. This year, however, ESPN gave up their NHL rights and the games will now be broadcast by Comcast and their "Outdoor Life Network". I don't know that channel is available in Japan or not.

I do, however, know that they intend to broadcast the games over the web. If you have DSL you can probably be able to watch the games that way, although I don't think you'll see many Leaf games. Their home games are usually exclusive rights of Canadian networks.

Moot point, do you have a link for watching NHL games on the web? I'd be very interested. It would be about time they got with the technology.

check out OLN's site. Do a quick search on Google to get you there. Details are there on how to sign up and list all of their games for the upcoming season (as to be expected, there are very few games consisting of Canadian teams).

Sedringo:

I do like the Sens, but barring half the Leaf roster suffering post cuncussion syndromes (which is entirely likely this year), get your dusty leafs jersey out of the closet where you Ottaw..uh..onians(?) hide them. Actually its almost sad watching you guys lose each year to us...almost. Truth be told though, the sens look damn good with Heatly and Hasek...hmm.

Actually, I haven't got a Leafs jersey Smile

I can't quite understand Quinn's policy of signing injury-prone players...Allison AND Lindros?

Yeah, we're looking fantastic with Heatley and Hasek...now what we need are a couple of gritty guys and we're set !!!

DELIVER THE CUP UNTO US ! Smile

Yep, gotta agree with Gordon and if anyone does find a way to watch NHL, especially the Canucks please let us know. In the meantime, if you go to NHL.com you can at least listen to the games through their internet radio hook-up. It's not the same as TV, but my mother claims here favorite games were listening to the habs on the radio when she was a kid Surprised
