|
|
Greetings all,
I am planning on heading to DF at the end of this month. I am currently in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I will be entering with an American passport. Will I have problems at immigration if I do not have a return ticket? All advice is sincerely appreciated.
Kind regards to all,
Andrew |

Sometimes, yes, but not often. You might get a few questions as to where you are going, how long will you stay, etc. That's usually fixed by showing a credit card, which proves you have the funds to continue on out of the country. |

If it's any use.... I came in on a British passport with a one-way ticket a couple of months ago and nobody batted an eyelid. |

It's sometimes the airlines that won't let on the plane without an onward ticket. It happened to me once, but that was years ago. |

I traveled to Mexico last year on a one-way ticket form the United States and had no problems at all at Benito Juarez airport in Mexico City. The person stamping my tourist card in Immigration did not see or ask for my plane ticket. I am returning to Mexico in two days (!), again with a one-way ticket, and foresee no problems. |

I didn't come in on a one-way ticket but wish I had as immigration didn't bat an eyelid either. |

Immigration won't, but the airlines (sometimes) will. |
