I find that Clarke's posts are trustworthy.

I have to agree with others and say that the posts are sometimes long.(Sometimes a little dry too.) I will continue to follow his advice and refer others to him when they have difficult questions.

As for the poll, nobody can be right 100% of the time.

I'm glad that I provided some amusement for you teacha (sic). I always look for your posts as they usually provide me with fits of laughter. It is amazing how someone can go from writing one post about his own dyslexia to then poking fun about others' errors.

I find Clark to be an excellent foil to the paranoid garbage that is posted by another regular on this forum. His habit of quoting and rebutting every point that some people make in their posts might annoy some, but I think his take on everything seems well informed and balanced.

Earth to KI: That was the joke, it's amazing how you think the irony was your own discovery rather then the reason I was laughing.

What a lousy poll question. How can anyone be 100% accurate?

Clark is definately one of the most helpful people on this Forum. I like Aristotle's posts as well; mainly because I lived with a roommate in Taiwan who he reminds me of. He got left standing at the altar twice in his attempts to get married in Taiwan! So he was a little bitter.

Clark's job posts on Taiwan are more helpful than expert books on living overseas, the US State Department jobs website or what I got out of my TESOL progam on job hunting.

I'm not voting either.
The question seems absurd.
Clark clearly goes to a lot effort to provide clear information without politics. His advice is especially useful to newbies.
He does also, obviously have a certain stand on working illegally but to have opinions is everyone's prerogative.

If I wanted advice on working legally in Taiwan I'd definitely read Clark's posts, if I wanted to work illegally I'd look carefully elsewhere.

I'm glad people appreciate Clark on this forum...

But the way I read the thread topic title as well as the poll question is rather mean-spirited. a.k.a. Pure drivel.

If anyone has an issue with what someone else is saying on the forum, please do not make them the subject of a public poll! Bring it up with a moderator or just ignore that person if he/she irks you so much.

Because this is pure fluff, I'm locking this thread.

But thanks to Clark's friends for their vote of confidence in him.
