Newbie considering Vietnam to teach... if you have taught/lived in VN, please tell me which you prefer, and why

I prefer S�ig�n to H�nội. I would prefer to live in a smaller place like Vũng Tau or Nha Trang, but work is less plentiful and it would be more difficult - in my opinion - to get the kind of schedule I want.

I've only visited H�nội a couple of times so hopefully someone will correct me if what I say is incorrect:

1. The weather in H�nội is cold.
2. Work is less plentiful.
3. The atmosphere is less relaxed.

S�ig�n is a thriving, sprawling, exciting city to live in. I still can 'get lost' and find some place I've never been to before.

S�ig�n is developing rapidly. One new addition www.galaxycine.com has really made a difference for me at least.

I like the fact that I'm only about 90 minutes from Vũng Tau, 6 hours out of Phnom Penh and $60 away from Singapore (Probably the same in H�nội) or Bangkok.
