|

Hi there
Could someone help me with the above? After replying to a PM, the reply goes to my outbox in Dave's. It seems to stay there and does not seem to be send. Shouldn't it go to my sent box?
I consider myself to be computer literate, but I can't seem to get it sent.
Ta

It doesn't go into your Sent box until the recipient has actually opened the PM or (I think) has at least gone into his/her Inbox. |

sorry tw. Messages go to sentbox as soon as they are sent. Unfortunately sentbox can only accept so many messages, agfter which they back-up, unsent, in outbox.
It is effectively an eslcafe bug, because there is no earthly reason why all sent messages should be saved in sentbox until deleted by the sender. But they are.
OP: Your sentbox is full. Empty it or delete some of its contents. Then you can send messages again.
If your sentbox is full no messages can be sent until room is made for them.

Why should it have been posted in the newbie forum. I am not a newbie. I often see questions posted about technical problems regarding computers, the internet, software, hardware and many others.
Or is it just a quota thing with you mods. Do you have to imput X amount of imputs per month and you need to boost yours?
Your comments please

Moderators have no quotas and pretty much moderate whatever forums they choose regardless of the nation in which they happen to reside.
Moderators are also free to edit, lock, move or delete postings and threads as they feel warranted and without explanation.
These are conditions members agree to when joining this board.
Please feel free to review them at the "Register" link. |

If your sentbox has never been full then I have no ideas as to the cause and can only suggest that you try cutting and pasting the contents into a new message and sending that. |
