Hi me again, sorry dont mean to flood or spam the forum but one more thing I forgot to ask ..
Does anyone know where I can stay at Phuket for 1 month ? Im on a really tight budget anything between 5-10K baht. 5K sounds good.
I will most likely ( that is if I dont find any other schools) do my CELTA course at ECC - its located at 73/1-2 Rasada Rd Taladyai Muang Phuket.
Also I left my laptop at home and I really need one - I know I am trying my luck but does anyone know where I can rent a laptop in Phuket?
Thanks. |

I dont know of any place in thailand that offers a laptop rental or any computer rental to individuals.
You might try the www.ajarn.com forum.
http://www.ajarnforum.net/
its the main thailand teachers site, somebody on there might know about both questions. |

Ask your school - you won't be the first looking for housing. They will know places nearby. There is a street - just off Bangkok Road (I think) - kind of a loop that goes from the Chinese Temple at the west end of the market street (Rasada) and loops around to the circle at the beginning. Walkable to ECC - in that area you will find several places in the 5-8k range - even with A/C for that price.
I have a friend who rents longer-term rooms, but they are in Patong and I don't think you want to be traveling back and forth every day. Phuket Town is full of inexpensive housing though.
EVERY language school helps their students find housing - I am sure ECC is not an exception. |
