Hello. Next month I will be moving to Thessaloniki to teach. I am looking for leads on good language schools in the city. Can anyone recommend any language schools in Thessaloniki? I'm looking for something that is centrally-located with decent pay and perks (accomodation). I'd really like a school that has other international teachers...I don't want to be the only one. I know Greek school owners can be crooked, so I'm hoping for a school that won't screw me. Any tips or suggestions would be great! Thanks everyone! [email protected] |

Well, I don't know a great many schools in Thessaloniki, but I would recommend you not teach at AXON Agias Sophias. I taught there last year and encountered the unfortunately common Greek problem of crooked owners. One of them seems to have walked off with the takings for the end of last year and left the teachers with no pay for their last two months of teaching and it looks like we're never going to get it. |
