THe charger for my camera batteries requires an input voltage of 100-240 volts but i gather thai mains supply is 250v. CAn i get a suitable converter in THailand to avoid frazzling my camera? |

Yeah you need a stepdown I think (or is it a stepup?) either way easy to get. |

I thought the voltage was 220 coming out of the sockets here. My tv is rated 100 to 240 and I bought it here, no problems. Just plug it in.
I am using my battery charger from the USA now, it runs only on 120 and I am using a step down transformer bought in the Philippines for about $4 to handle it. No problems there. You can buy it here at any electronic store. |

Right; Thailand is on 220V
and plugs are often a combo
of round and square pins.
As Sgt Killjoy suggested, you can
buy what you need right here.
