Oh, I see now. Teacha has finally given up trying to outwit Clark and has now turned to others to try to twist their words around. I just wanted to be sure of the situation, that's all. Perhaps they knew something that I didn't. Maybe you are right teacha. Maybe I was talking out of both sides of my mouth. What were you talking out of?

Actually, I did interview at one kindy where I enquired about a $30,000 contract completion clause and the possibility of deportation for working there. They said that if I was deported then they would waive the penalty. But I guess they could just as likely decide not to pay me if it did happen. After all, I would have breached the contract by not giving ample warning, etc. I could then be blacklisted, in effect, twice. Once for working in a kindy in the first place and a second time for breaching my contract. I sure am glad I'm not in that scenario.

As the kindy position would not have been a legal position you could not be blacklisted for it.

You could be fined and deported for working there if caught, but the actual terms of your work would be neither legally enforceable nor could they place you in legal trouble as far as teacher blacklisting. Being deported for working illegally could of course affect your furture chances of obtaining a visa to return to Taiwan.
