Hey forum people,

I'm new to this teaching english abroad thing. I've been reading about people's experiences in Turkey from the job journal, and it looks like it can be difficult but fun. Anyway, I'm thinking about Istanbul but I've only been able to find two of the school's numbers online, Interlang and Dilko. But it seems like they both need teaching certificates and experience, which I don't have.
Anybody have the number to English Time or English First or Dialogue? maybe they have less requirements. That would be helpful, thanks.

If you don't have a teaching certificate, don't bother trying English TIme, Interlang, or Dilko, as you have to have it for those for sure, and probably for most of the language schools. You should invest a month in the certificate if you want to come here and make a living.

That is what those ''schools'''say in public but in reality you do not need a degree or teaching certificate. A fake will do. Even one of the DOSes has no degree.

Check your PM for contact details of the above schools.

Don`t worry, as long as you are a native speaker you can get a job.

Only if he is dynamic. No need for experience though.
