Hi there, I was wondering where the best location to teach in Taiwan is. We were leaning more towards Taipei but we are open to suggestions. Thanks! |

For me, the question wasn't "where is the best place to teach?", it was "where is the best place to live?"
I imagine there are great places to teach in most cities throughout Taiwan. Ask yourself what else is important:
1. Living in a big city or getting the rural experience
2. Do you speak Chinese? If not, stay in the bigger cities
3. Polution
4. Weather
5. Things to do |

Taipei is by far the best place for the vast majority of uninitiated teachers to start. You can make a few mistakes and not get totally burned for it. Other parts of Taiwan are notorious for robbing and cheating the uninitiated.

Good luck!
