British Aerospace won't take you without an NOC.

With other employers it depends. Aramco nornally doesn't hire EFL instructors direct so you would be going through the contractor; I have never known one to be bothered in the last fifteen years or so.

You simply put your normal employment on the CV. Some employers will ask about an NOC and some won't.

Incidentally, weren't you the guy who worked for Kawasaki helicopter and has an entry-re-entry because they sent people home on unpaid leave? If so my comment about the three years won't apply. But, you might stop to think that if your current employer is blatantly disobeying the labour laws, and nothing is happening, things are not run on teutonic lines here.

....not run on teutonic lines......

Some people from the 'West' have difficulties even after years in the Gulf in understanding how things are done here. Rules are bendy here !

I dunno. Rules aren't so bendy with some recruiters who categorically refuse to hire people because of no NOC. If the rules were so bendy, they would have said- "come'on over now" to people w/o LONOs. But some are saying one needs to wait 3 years, others are saying "never without an NOC". Not so bendy if you ask me.

Do you want the truth about succesful shoplifting, bigamy and all the other misdemeanours we have committed ?

Come on be realistic, if people have circumvented the rules are they going to tell you how they did it ?

That is why I am asking in Third Person plural and I hope a person with
a nickname instead of his/her real name replies in Third Person- i.e " "Some guys do this:...."

Everybody's told you what people do, Gabe, but you don't seem to be satisfied.

You write out a normal CV, containing all your relevant experience and apply for jobs. When you find an employer that accepts you, you apply for a visa and if you don't have any prior Saudi stamps on your passport, and neglect to mention them on the visa application form, then you are not asked for an NOC.

When you get to Saudi you then apply for as many driving licenses, phone connections, plane tickets and Big Mac discount vouchers as you wish.
