Since I've had a pc at home I've had sites I return to time and time again. As favourites I subdivide them; "daily" = bbc news, guardian newspaper, this forum (of course), yahoo weather for Izmir, yahoo currency Turkish lira exchange rate, my e-mail addresses.

As of yesterday, I hit the yahoo YTL exchange rate button (which used to produce an exchange rate plus a pretty graph that demonstrates the fluctuation on a monthly/3 monthly/annual basis) and I got the Albanian Lek!

I looked for Turkish currency within their list. It's not there. You can check the rate of the Bolivian Boliviano, the Aruba Florin, the Comoros Franc (????). The Turkish lira (new or old) does not exist.

I went out of Yahoo.UK and tried Yahoo.com. Same result.

I want to complain to someone. Have you ever tried to contact Yahoo? It's impossible. It's probably just a glitch but until someone notifies them, it will continue. How do we notify them?

No idea.

In the meantime, xe.com is a great site for currency conversions.
