You mean the AC unit broke down? A cockroach emerged from mine this morning and landed on my pillow. Said intruder was scooped up into an empty water bottle and given a squirt of Pif Paf. |

Graham no doubt has to keep a water bottle by his bed to counter the dehydratory effects or is that affects of the sid. |

Hector, apart from Frankincense, a bottle of Chivas Regal and a couple of bottles of Corona (you can't get Mahou Cinco Estrellas out here), my room is a substance-free zone.
A few days ago I read a posting that Mr Loyd is 31 in disguise. Now, where did I put the Pif Paf? |

You can, if my memory serves me correctly, get Efes in Oman. That info in itself should generate a whole new thread. |

What on earth are Efes? I think I'll stick to Frankincense. |

Efes - Turkish beer - so good that it had to be exported (deported?). |

I am shocked - shocked! - to see Scot use such an obvious Americanism in his writings.
Surely you meant to say "holidays"??? |
