I was lucky enough to be accepted into a fully funded program volunteering in Eastern Europe until March of next year (Ukraine) but once I return home I would like to teach English somewhere in Latin America (I'm leaning towards Mexico but I'm interested in all countries). Does anyone know of any language schools which exchange volunteer teaching for Spanish lessons that would take someone during this time of year?
Thanks so much Very Happy

Apart from the mysterious Justin, I think there are also a couple of schools in Honduras and Costa Rica which look for teachers fairly regularly on the job board. I have no idea about their reputability though...

Everyone knew Austin Powers by name and he was still an 'International Man of Mystery'! Razz

We've seen photos of him though... Laughing

In the immortal words of that famous EFL teacher Winston Churchill, you're a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma, somewhat similar to the way that every post gets turned into a "why won't Justin post a photo?" conversation.

Sorry, Jacqui for the hijackment of your post, and good luck with the job search! Wink

Jacqui, I'll ask around here in Mexico if your heart's set on this place. One thing you might run into as a problem is Easter week. That'll be two weeks often where there's no work, so you might get asked to push a start date back a little bit.

Thanks Guy, it will be no problem to push the date back. Summer would probly be the ideal time to start but I was thinking that demand would be pretty low then.

Actually, it's not too bad in summer in many places.
