I live one train stop from the action in my city now. I often take the last train back( or as I call it, "Yopparai Express" because almost everyone is drunk). If I stay out past the last train, I usually take a daiko one-man because it is cheaper than a taxi.

Taxi(night rate)=2600yen
Daiko one-man=1600yen
