| With nothing new to read you go back in the annals of time to read any previous thread that you may have missed. Hey I did have that fortnights holiday in Thailand island without internet connection. Find one, get excited about it only to realise a few posts in that you have in fact read it. In fact more than once and you even replied. |

| You get VERY upset when the site is down for maintenance and check back often to see if it's workig yet. |

I'm tempted to say that spidey's avatar is disgusting, but its also so very, very Japanese
RyanS's post would work on different levels IF HE WASN"T STILL AROUND.
I look forward to missing you in the near future |

You find yourself on MSN discussing various posts and threads with other Daveaholics...(this was actually from thelmadatter but she was too shy to post it herself...or maybe too embarrassed )

| you have no desire whatsoever to go to Russia, China or wherever, but end up checkin' out those threads just see what people are talking about (and how where you are/want to go compares) and then find you've been doing that for 30 minutes, so now you can return to your regular forums and see if anyone has posted again, ha! what fun! |

|
| ....You check in almost hourly just to see if there is anything from someone teaching in Switzerland who can give you that vital back-door-entry-into-TEFL-in-the-land-of-the-Matterhorn clue that you've been seeking ever since you were last there on holiday nearly five years ago. (Well, I have just written something! Check out "Switzerland - Fort Knox" in the General Europe Forum!) |

| True enough. My wife, though, has the luxury of having a park bench to lie down on when she's at work in her office. No such luxury at my office, though. Mind you, the floor is carpeted, so that's a blessing.... |
