If it is 100+ hours with a supervised teaching practicum, its probably good enough. I think beyond this the quality of your experience has as much to do with the motivation you bring to the program as anything else. A Harvard graduate once told me that the difference between Harvard and the public "state schools" is that if you are failing a course, Harvard has lots of resources to help keep a student from flunking; at a state school, you're on your own if you don't keep up.
The point being that if you're a motivated student, you're going to learn and do well no matter where you go, because learning is an active process. |
