I take the 22 from Bernal to Retiro and back again every Monday and Friday. When I got out of work today at 10:00 AM, I waited for the 22 for an hour. None ever came. It was really frustrating ...

Good point Sheena, cry me a river buddy.... Hey guess what? It's Argentina and believe it or not, not every aspect of life, or expectations, as you may have previously had it is going to work out here. Suggestion: Walking or the subte... It probably wouldn't kill you to work off a bit of that Quilmes that you're sluggin' down. Ha, ha, ha...

Let's face it, things happen (or don't happen) for all sorts of reasons here and that's part of the beauty of coming here for a new experience and to step away from your comfortable (see: monotonous) being where ever it is that you come from.

By the way, if I've got this right from reading the posts prior to my arrival aren't you the same sucker that "can't live without my Desperate Housewives???[/img]

Sheena, why didn't you just ignore the post if you read the title? Criticizing does no good.

Quimeslover, my post has nothing to do with my inability to accept Argentine life. I just wanted to know if anyone had some information on why the 22 stopped running. It's a major bus that comes every 5 minutes so I was just surprised that it didn't come for over an hour. I thought someone might have some useful information. I don't live in Capital so I don't know a lot of things about Capital. I thought there could be some common knowledge that I was missing ... like that on this particular day the 22 doesn't run, or something like that.
