I'm not sure about that but I went to the top of 101 last week and the decorative steel things at the top are already starting to rust. Now I'm no engineer but that doesn't strike me as normal for such a new building. It was built in 2001 wasn't it? Should it be rusting after only four years?

That article's a bit spooky considering since I've read it there have been two earthquakes! Wouldn't fancy my chances if that thing fell down!
Don't know about the rust thing though Fich, doesn't seem right to me either - although this is Taiwan after all!! |
