I've gone past Hunan Normal University many times. I don't know if it's the same as yours. Hunan Normal is on the university side of the river in Changsha, the capital of Hunan. IHunan normal is in a nice area near Mt. Yuelu and the Yuelu Academy, near Hunan University and Central South University. Changsha is a growing city, but it isn't so big yet and the traffic is not bad, especially on the university side of the river.
A normal school is probably a great first job in China. The people in Hunan are nice and Changsha is very not uptight in any way, form, manner or shape. |

I guess it's the one with a big statue of Mao Zedong in front of. profM is right, Changsha is a good place to live in (much better that Hengyang 100km to the south where I teach). |
