Just curious.

The Buxiban expects me to get to the school half an hour before the lesson, and then after the lesson, they ask for about half an hour of marking and other stuff. So basically for one hour of teaching (at 600NT), one is required to put in an extra hour of unpaid prep. and marking.

Is this about average for others working in Buxibans?

....and all that after commuting from Thailand.

A new job might be in order, or a faster helicopter.

And with transportation costs and all - you just can't save a dime.

Have you asked about housing CLOSER to the school?
