Are these good guys to work for. Do they pay on time and treat their teachers well? I'd hate to go to work for a slave driver.

Last year I tried to get the terms and conditions from them BEFORE applying for a job. They told me to apply then they would send me the details. It seems they don't want their pay and benefits widely known so I think you can assume they will be BELOW market rates. Last I heard it was full of South Africans who are happy to accept lower rates of pay than Europeans.

I believe there has been at least one post on this branch on the subject of IH in KSA - try doing a search.

In general, people are usually advised to avoid private language schools like IH in this part of the world. This is because they offer low pay for long hours and benefits which are well below the norm in the Gulf. That said, if you do not have the qualifications and/or experience for one of the better-paying university jobs, you may be satisfied with IH. For what it's worth, I've not heard any stories about them not paying on time or treating their teachers badly (and neither scenario, it has to be said, is unheard of in the Kingdom) but then again, I'm hardly an authority on IH KSA.
