Has anyone taught in Phuket Tahiland before, or been there? Can you tell me what it's like? How much do teachers generally get paid down in Thailand? What are medical facilities like? Do most jobs provide room and board, and pay for round trip ticket? Sorry for all questions.

Thanks for help.....

I live here and have taught here. Take a look at

It's nice. Lots of Thai people. Water.

Teachers generally earn from the mid-B20k up to the mid-B40k - but most earn something in the middle of that range.

International hospitals offer excellent care at very decent prices. See http://phuketdelight.com/medical.htm for more information.

No, the provision of housing and an air ticket is not rare - but is definitely not common. Board - some schools will provide meals while you are at the school. Sometimes though - this means you are supervising the students in the canteen . . . And, sometimes, the food is not so good. Shocked

No problem, that's what we are here for!

Read the info above - and then ask more specific questions and we might be able to help you more.

Enjoy!
