SHOULD I GET CERTIFIED CELTA BEFORE OR AFTER I ARRIVE IN CHILE?
WHERE SHOULD I GET CERTIFIED, ONLINE OR THROUGH A SCHOOL?
ARE THE ONLINE CERTIIFCATIONS ADVERTISED ON THIS SITE WORTHY?
DO I NEED A CELTA CERT OR DIPLOMA?
I 24 AND I ALREADY HAVE A BUSINESS DEGREE. IS IT HARD FINDING WORK IN CHILE W/O A CERTIFICATION?
I JUST NEED A FEW ANSWERS THAT COULD HELP A BUNCH.
I AM TRYING TO GO TO CHILE IN JULY.

You can't get a CELTA in Chile. The only place you could take a CELTA course in South America is in Brazil. There are schools in Rio, Sao Paulo, and Recife. With a CELTA you will be able to teach anywhere in the world.
It depends on what type of job you're looking for.. most people say that a TEFL certificate is not necessary to teach at the institutes in Santiago. You just might have to look a little longer. The main hiring time is Feb and March, but since July is the start of the 2nd semester, you'll probably find something. |
