Without sounding like a stalker I just found myself staring at Guy's avatar knowing that something has changed but not being able to remember what on earth he looked like in his last photo.
I guess this should really be part of the "you know you spend too much time on Dave's when..." thread!
Anyone else but me have to do a double take? |

Yes, I updated my avatar. I don't know if the issue is worth a thread though...
I'm more than 2 years older now, and a few pounds heavier. Such is life. Just wait until the grey hair comes in... |

Guy #1 was pink and pale.
Guy #2 is brown and hearty/hardy. Have his feet likewise changed from white to tan? |

Justin had his own thread for quite some time, all about why he didn't have an avatar!
I'm actually thinking of bidding a fond adieu to my dear Zippy, but what could I possibly replace him with? |

That almost sounds like a hint Loz, since you know I have a picture of you here... |

You have to upload the photo to a server somewhere. Photobucket is one a lot of posters use. Then, in your profile, type in the URL. |

Lozwich, Zippy is irreplaceable. Have you considered a different Zippy for each season, like the recent Christmas one? |

Yes, Graham, I have! It was my birthday last week and I wanted to find a Zippy with a party hat on, but the amount of time it took to find Zippy at Christmas put me off a bit.
Guy, if you post my photo here, you know I will have to personally come to DF and do something horribly vicious to you and various members of your extended family! Any excuse to come back to Mexico! |

And I thought I learned a thing or two about hostage taking and ransom demands in Mexico!
No worries, Loz. Your pic is safely stowed. Wonder if there is eBay potential in this? |

Yeah, but where I live, I get access to the pros!
As for the eBay thing, my family would probably be keen to buy that photo. They haven't got any of me either! |

Having had the pleasure of meeting Guy while I was still in Mexico City, I can say that while photo #2 looks more like him than #1, it still doesn't do him justice! |

I love the hat. Where's the smile, Matt? You took that pic in the Ciudadela, didn't you? |

I went to a Mexican restaurant for my birthday, and they made me wear one of those hats while having my photo taken. I had a similar look on my face too! Mainly because I hate wearing silly hats, but also because they're really heavy! Maybe the weight pushed Matt's smile down?? |
