Thanks Guy. You know, the life of a mariachi isn't all glamour and fame. Like clowns, we get sad sometimes.
Actually, I think I was just tired that day. The shrunken image makes it look like I'm crying, but I swear I wasn't! We may get sad, but real mariachis never cry. |

| One of the funniest things I have ever seen in Mexico, in Guadalajara, was a late night marriachi chase. Somebody in a car pulled up to a large group of marriachis and was swarmed by them. Must have been a slow business night for them. The car pulled away, then stopped, then pulled away a bit, teasing the whole swarm. Had to be like 50 marriachis chasing the car down the road, some of them playing instruments. |
