I enjoy a joke as much as the next person but I expect them to be funny.

Dear Mr Hunan

I will address the OP and say that, yes he could certainly find work here.
My boss is always asking me to find FTs but I have been burnt a few times and am reluctant to take on the role of recruiter.

We just had 5 backbackers up and leave without notice leaving the company in a bad position with the schools.

I have been with this company for 3 years and have seem more FTs behaving badly than my Chinese boss who as far as I 'm concerned is too lenient. Well that's another thread.

Look dudes, you are like hard gravel at light speed - really chunky hard

Roger man - Oz-day was yesterday umm that why I was a bit .. er .. homogenised yesterday
Now the cream is just starting to rise to the top of my scone. .. wow me is crisp now

And if you guys are gonna start slinging boulders then I hope you feel bigger than Humphrey for it
Im doing my best- I am not perfect but neither are some are you guys.

The fact is, I could crumple your cartons quick time face to face but that in not my way of padding about now

I left school in 3rd year - lots of problems back then but I am U-turned my rig right around!!
I dont have any police record either but I dont have the bonus points of a mummee with all the barrow load of dollaroos to send me to uni.

What am I supposed to do hock my talents down the cross, cook junk food at McDonuts or try something else?

I did great at college and did not drop out and I got a super crisp stamp from the paddo boys and girls who run the place. One of those characters gave me a referenc that is just sparkling.
Better than Bob Hope.

I have sent a whole bag of e-mails for jobs and I am looking for the best.
I got my job counsellor to help me with these. Top shelf.

I work part time in a car yard detailing cars (2 jobs actually) and will have the cash saved for my ticket to ride in a few months or more so.

I dont get you guys just reminds me of all the things about teachers at school and why the sane people like me left those prisons of the mind.

And what about popy-cola -n the French dude?
He needs some help I just gotta wait and I reckon if he can get a job and some other French characters do too, and then put 100 bucks on me to come in as a place at Randwick in a month of two.
Youll be smiling when I do.

But if you are up tight- sorry fellas - no can help that is your bag not mine to lump around

I am at my mates place now and he is getting radiator trouble with my time on-line now

Look guy, this posting is about helping a French young person look for a job. If you want to disgress and turn into your own job search, why don't you open your separate thread?

And frankly, are you for real? I hate to say it...but is this Australian English? Maybe that explains why Australian movies are now subtitled when they are shown in the United States...

Or is this the English of Popeye-the-Sailor? It's just unbelievable.

Ah my little troll you haven't done your homework and your Strine is so unconvincing. You see Aussies are really good at taking the piisss out of themselves and make both parties laugh.

Well, what a surprise! Thanks to the pm's so far to everyone, in English and French.

Looks as if I could find something, maybe in places not in demand rather than in the hot spots. Where there are scruples there about my lack of a degree, etc., the Chinese way will help me out if there's sufficient desperation.

And if I get cravings for hot spots, it's suggested by some that all I need is "cheek", a fake certificate or two, a massaged cv and Pierre's your uncle. "Why, even famous people have done it!" one poster suggested.

But, seriously, I'm not into fakery. I'm who I am and wouldn't present myself as anything other than who I am. I'm not a native speaker, I carry a French passport, I don't have a degree and my teacher training is of the short course type.
Nevertheless, I think I'd survive in a university. If anyone knows of somewhere in a hot spot that I might be successful in, please post here and then we can discuss at the same time. My pm box gets full! Naturally, however, I expect that it's what someone called "spitsville" for me in all probability. But I pine for the breezes of Guangdong, the sophistication of Shanghai or the sights and sounds of Shanghai.

The idea is sounding more feasible than I thought it might be.

tyange, I know you're more literate than you sound. I have looked at your posts and I think I see some French constructions there - and very polished (CRISP) constructions, at that Rolling Eyes . Or are those yobbos I encountered at the Sydney beach surprise packets?

Cola, for some reason I thought you were a lady, hence the Mlle. Then it occurred to me that I couldn't remember why I thought that. Apologies if I was mistaken.

To anyone who thinks Tange is a troll in disguise, perhaps that discussion can be left for the off-topic forum and/or PM's.

I meet people from all over the world at Bondi and they surely know what I am saying.
And Australains are from all over the world too (I was born in NZ- my friends are all from different countries)

Why do these teachers here expect me to speak like some old digger dude from the war 100 years ago?
Ok if your grandpapa was some old ocker character - well I am not it that Ok with you guys Twisted Evil

And some of you characters might be taking yourselves a little bit too seriously anyway
Whats with your looking down your nose attitude Mad
So different here to the Indonesia board where people offer some real help without trying to big note themselves

You have got the scoop poopsicola the straight and narrow Idea

I am the same as you look I read all these boards and there is plenty of folks that give an idea to make some diploma or certificate or get your school to do that. Then you get the job

And what it more than that there are many of these characters who are French anyway like Hunan Fella and Roger and vik maybe and you and some other others

So whats the major here?

I wanna teach in China but I surely will tell and no lies about it.
Crisp, thank you captain Very Happy

My English is not like some professor but then I reckon that some of these teachers in China might be bending the banana too

So I reckon if poopsicola keeps legit then some honest school or uni will want him more than some guys who are hiding the goods.

Yeh, I might start my own thread anyway but I am still sending off e-mail - no replies yet but theres a holiday over there right.

Steady does it

Well if you're sending out emails let's just hope your writing style and use of English is better than what you use here. If it's not that would explain the lack of replies.

oh yeh, my-time

as I wrote before, I have to hurry when I type (except at college where its free and no time limit)

And we learn writing proper letters and reports and to check every thing twice at college

My job counselors at Strathfield help me with my CV too

I will speak to them next week and maybe I can get some more study time but I am try to save money for the plane now so I gotta work on cleaning the cars for the cash

So many people say you gotta have enough cash right

dont wanna be a slave

Thanks for the scoop Very Happy

Agreed..nonetheless...since you are dispensing advice...

your writing style and use of English ARE better (not "is" better -- it's a compound subject)...

and than that WHICH you use here (not "that" as the referant noun has been clearly identified).

Otherwise, I fully concur with your comments.

Please -- let's return to the OP's thread, if we can..

Somehow I just think that this transposed Kiwi aka Aussie is just playing here. Can anyone really, really speak and write like English in such a manner?

By the way, I have read that Michael Jackson is looking for a number of doubles because wearing female garments in scorching hot Dubai is not quite to the liking of his in his attempts at eluding the foreign press hacks!
