Luggage courier in between Asian countries???

I have a large suitcase in storage at a youth hostel in Kunming, China. I would like to have it shipped to me here in Southeast Asia (in Kuala Lumpur).

Is this easy/safe to do?

How much will it cost? The suitcase weighs many kilograms.

Has anyone had luggage couriered in between Asian countries before? Shall I contact the hostel in Kunming and have them arrange everything?
