Sorry, I just dont get all this mango adulation. Theyre rank. Bananas for me. Preferably inside a pancake (crepe) with honey. Mmmmm....
Which reminds me. Pancake Day tomorrow - anyone celebrating? Lemon and sugar - cant beat it. |

Melee,
What are those stinky orange things about the size of a cumquat that they sell on sticks and coated in something brown and revolting looking? They're definitely seasonal, stink really bad and are around at about the same time as pitaya.
I am afraid of that fruit. So afraid that I dare not even learn its name. It smells that bad. |

I would rather smell durian than that horrible yellow little creature.
ls650, did you ever have a fruit in Indonesia that has a skin that can actually cut you and looks kind of like snakeskin? Its shaped like one of those funny Jewish spinning tops and is nice in the same way that eating a piece of polystyrene is. Now there's an acquired taste!

| As a matter of fact, I did. Damned if I can remember what they're called though. We just called them 'snakefruit'... |
