Shouldn't have any trouble finding work here. Don't write that on your card, though.

Am I too late for ALT positions?

Last question: I will be going on a 3-month landing permit. Is it ok to put 'searching for job' on my embarkment card?

Sorry if this comes across as rambling, but I'm nervous as hell about doing this.

You are too late for JET positions, but for ALT positions, March is the peak month to get hired.

If you arrive and write on the embarkment card that you are searching for a job, then you will be put on a flight OUT of Japan. A 3 month landing permit is for tourist purposes only.

Kind of a catch-22 isn't it? It makes sense to be in Japan when you are searching for a job. Just because someone is looking for a job doesn't mean they are going to start working illegally.

What do you reccomend I put on my card? With two large bags, I can hardly be considered a tourist. I guess I can say I'm in between jobs in Korea and spending a few weeks in Japan in the meantime, but still, I'd rather be honest if possible.
