What's up with the coffee? Why is it famous in those parts? Has anyone tried it? (obviously, I'm an addict.... Sad )

Mira, thank you calsimsek.

I've drunk it. It is not too different from Arabic coffee. should you ever find yourself in one of those beehive houses drinking it, you'll be asked your age. They make a big thing of the mira being drunk by the oldest first and the youngest last. It's like a coffee shot- knocked back in a oner.

I've always wondered and looked on in total disbelief at what goes for scaffolding on most of the building sites I see .Rarely do they use the steel ones, they just throw up bits of wood nailed together and tied to the side of the building .Talk about having faith in your god ,I wonder if those workers think they are immortal .
