Hi,
I have found a site for a school that does TEFL training in Thailand(www.islandtefl.com) its based in Koh Samui, does anybody know any thing about this school and the course, would it be a reputable one that would allow me to teach in most places or would I come unstuck?
Does anyone know anymore of these schools inThailand?
Many Thanks MJ x |

There are many TEFL schools in Thailand. You need only to do a Google search to find at least nine that I know of.
When you are checking schools out consider some of the issues addressed in "How to Choose a TEFL School" at"
http://phuketdelight.com/TEFL.htm
Contact schools and ask them questions about their program. You'll be surprised how many won't even answer your questions - or will send you a "canned" answer. Choose accordingly! |

Check to see if they're certified there as I don't think they are.
Never heard anything about them to be honest. |

Does anyone have any suggestiojns of other Tefl schools in Thailand that are certified and reputable?

What makes for a "certified" school? |

Registered with the MoE to teach TEFL courses (not to be confused with being certified purely to teach). Applies to Thai courses etc. as well. |
