I researching at a secondary school in HK and have seen 4 different part-time English teachers come and leave in the period of less than 1 academic year.

Nevertheless, there seems to be a ready supply of temporary part-time English teachers on their "uppers" = upper shoe leather.

Just an observation.

Alas, this is true.

But I would like to know, were these teachers all qualified as in they possesed EMB recognised qualifications or had Registered Teacher Status?
