I've lived in Houston as well, and, not citing any official figures, but I think Cd. Valles is is hotter, just from what I remembet it feeling like.

I'll look into those contacting some people there, or if anybody can give me any specific job leads for there, PM me.

Hi all,
My family told me the value of some of those places, and I am shocked that people could afford those prices. There doesn't seem to be a lot of industry around there, so I do wonder where all the money is coming from for some families to afford to live like I saw some of them living.

That seems pretty obvious, surely someone with so many ties to Mexico would know. Money in these places comes in two ways. 1, its old money, money makes more money. A few families probably own most of the buildings in the center of town and rake in loads of money renting locales.

The second is its coming from family members working in the US. Last year money send down from the US, by passed tourism and oil as Mexico's largest source of income.

I was there on sunday and the car reading was around 49 C... pretty hot and humid considering its technically still winter! even if the car reading is high, it was hot....
Though I am in Rioverde, , which is on average a bit cooler overall than Ciudad Valles, it may help as a guide to know that here, it gets on average around 38-45C in the summer and averages 25 or so in the winter...
