Anyone with experience living, or working in Macau are you out there? Would it be correct to assume that the cost/standard of living is somewhere bewteen mainland China and HK? I lived in Fujian last year, so am aware of living/working conditions there (as a comparison).
Any advice appreciated,
Thanks,

You might be better off working in Zhuhai! Salaries in Macau are on the low side, rentals too, but there are not so many jobs anyway.
Some jobs are offered without legal protection. You take a lot of risks and get the boot in your bum if they do not need you.
If it is a legal job, why not? Macau is congenial, small and yet not nightmarishly overpopulated. |

No, it's not worth working in Macao.
The place is very small and isn't safe, especially for females.
You're definitley better off working somewhere else. |
