Hi, i'm going to Japan in July to start work with Nova. I am a football fanatic and would like to know if they show the English premiership on tv over there. Do they have it on in bars? I dont know how i would handle a year without watching Manchester United. |

I am able to watch more live football than I ever managed to in England via the internet and tv.
EVERY game is shown via the internet live with British commentary www.asiaplate.com
If you have no computer then satellite tv shows premiership football icluding ALL of the ManUtd, Chelsea, Aresnal and Liverpool games regardless of the kick off times. (3pm games aren't shown live in the UK but are shown in Japan)
You can also watch many other sports via the above website including NBA (if you like American sports though assuming your a Brit I guess you won't), tennis and FI, all with English commentary.
In summary, you'll be able to watch MORE football than in England.
It's great !! |

Speaking of football, how easy is it to find amateur leagues to play in? I'm researching TESL jobs and if anyone knows a good area with lots of leagues that would definitely help me out.
Thanks |
