So I'm living here in Buenos Aires and have decided that I want to try my hand at futbol...easy, right? Only prob is, I'm a girl! Whenever I've asked any locals about women's teams or teams that at least allow girls to play, I've been met with blank stares. I'm not talking serious futbol here or anything, I just want to work on my skills (futbol and castellano) with a fun group of people a couple times (or even once!) a week...any suggestions about where to look????

There was a ex-pat footy game every monday night at around 9pm at the astroturf 5 a side pitches in parque las heras. I haven't been since last july due to various reasons but i'd guess it was still going on as it's organised by long-term expats. go there around 9.30 ish and look for the group of people shouting in english. girls and boys welcome.
